A Natural Learning Approach
At West River Academy, we love seeing learning happen in all kinds of ways, especially outside of traditional classrooms. One amazing place that captures this spirit is Casa Aiken, an incredible learning community in Argentina that takes a “Natural Learning” approach by not separating students by each grade level.
Freedom to Follow Curiosity
Casa Aiken is all about giving kids the freedom to follow their curiosity. Instead of grouping students by age, they come together based on what interests them most. Whether it’s art, literature, recycling, or even dressmaking, kids get to dive into hands-on activities that make learning fun and meaningful.
A Community That Learns Together
What really makes Casa Aiken special is how it includes families in the learning journey. Education here isn’t just about kids—it’s about building a whole community where everyone learns and grows together. There’s no rigid schedule; the day flows based on what’s happening, making each experience feel natural and exciting.
A Visit to Remember
Milagros, one of our team members, recently visited Casa Aiken and was blown away by the warmth and energy of the students and staff. She saw kids fully engaged in what they love, supported by a space that encourages them to explore, create, and thrive.

Freedom, Joy, and Personal Growth
Casa Aiken is a perfect example of how education can be freeing, joyful, and deeply personal. It’s proof that when kids are given the space to learn in their own way, incredible things happen.
